Skeletal Muscle Relaxants

Composition : One ampoule (2.5ml) contains
Atracurium Besylate - 25mg

Indication & Usage :

• Skeletal muscle relaxation during anesthesia
• Maintain of muscle relaxation to facilitate endotracheal intubation
• Muscle relaxation during surgery
• Control of mechanical ventilation

Dosage & Administration :

• Use by injection
  The usual recommended adult dose is 0.3~0.6mg/kg by intravenous bolus injection and
  will provide adequate relaxation for about 15 to 35 minutes. Endotracheal intubation can
  usually be accomplished within 90 seconds from the intravenous injection of 0.5 to
  0.6mg/kg. Nervous muscle block can be prolonged with supplementary doses of 0.1 to
  0.2mg/kg as required.
• Use as an infusion
  Acrium can be used to maintain neuromuscular block during long-term by
  administration as a continuous infusion at rates of 0.3 to 0.6mg/kg/hours.
  Dose of cardiopulmonary bypass surgery is 0.3~0.6mg/kg.

Indication & Usage :
Symptomatic treatment of painful muscle spasm associated with
musculoskeletal condition : back pain, scapula symptom, periarthritis,
spondylosis deformans

Dosage & Administration

• The usual recommended adult dose is 5ml for a individual, administered
  intramusculary or intravenously three times daily. In the case of severe pain,
  dose is 10ml three times daily.
• Administration should not be exceed three days. A like course may be
  repeated after a lapse of 48 hours if the condition persists.
• According to age, symptom the dosage may be changed.

Methocarbamol - 750mg

Indication & Usage :
Symptomatic treatment of painful muscle spasm associated with musculoskeletal condition : back pain, scapula symptom, periarthritis, spondylosis deformans

Dosage & Administration :

• Adult : 2~3 tablets t.i.d.
• Children : Dosage should not be exceed 60mg/kg daily.
• According to age, symptom, the dosage may be changed.

Dosage & Administration

• The usual dose is one ampoule twice daily by intramuscular or intravenous injection.
• According to age, symptom, the dosage may be changed.

Indication & Usage :

• Symptomatic treatment of painful muscle spasm associated with musculoskeletal condition : scapula symptom, periarthritis, back pain.
• Spastic paralysis associated with nervous system disease : cerebrovascular disorder, spastic spinal paralysis, cervical spondylosis, postoperative sequel(including cerebral tumor and spinal core tumor), posttraumatic sequel(spinal cord lesion, head trauma), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, cerebral palsy, spinocerebellar degeneracy, spinal vessel block, subacute spinal nervous optic degeneracy, cerebrospinal disease.

Dosage & Administration

• The usual recommended adult dose is one tablet three times daily.
• According to age, disease, the dosage may be changed.

Gallamine triethiodide - 10mg

Indication & Usage :

Treatment for rheumatic muscular spasm : spinal sarcitis, bursitis, inflammation of fibrous tissue, spondylitis(lumbago, inflammation of torticollis)

Dosage & Administration

• I.M. or I.V. 10~20mg every 8~12 hrs. repeatedly.

Pyridostigmine Bromide - 5mg

Indication & Usage :

• Reversal agent or antagonist to nondepolarizing muscle relaxants drug
• Myasthenia gravis

Dosage & Administration

• For reversal agent or antagonist to nondepolarizing muscle relaxants of preand postoperative : 2~4 ampoules(0.1~0.25mg/kg)
• For myasthenic gravis of pre- and postoperative and during labor : 2~6mg by intramuscular or very slow intravenous injection
• Neonates of myasthenic mothers may have transients difficulty in swallowing, sucking and breathing : 0.05~0.15mg/kg by intramuscularly.
• Pyrinol administer parenterally one hour before completion of second stage labor enables patients to have adequate strength during labor and provides protection to infants in the immediate postnatal state.
